As the day draws to a close, a favorite beverage in hand and the Night Owl in the pipe for a sublime evening smoke!  The Night Owl's tobacco base is made from selected, pressed Red Virginias. These present a sweet and malty flavor, with earthy and bready tones. There is even a hint of floral in the leaf. This then combines with the Burley, which is nutty, woody and tasting a bit of molasses and cocoa. The Perique brings with it a deep fruitiness of raisins, plums and dates. In the background is the Kentucky, bringing a balance with it's notes of sour and a bit of spice too. Night Owl is well balanced and complex. It burns cool and clean at a moderate pace with a mostly consistent flavor all through the bowl.  It's a calm, stoic mixture that's perfect for the end of the day.  Night Owl is part of HU Tobacco's Pipe Enthusiasts line and is presented in a 3.5 ounce tin.
